Founder’s Why?

I built Nyano out of my own lived experience. As an immigrant building businesses, pursuing my education, supporting my family back home, and trying to find my place in a new country, I was constantly overwhelmed. Yet, the world kept telling me, “Just push through.”

But that isn’t care, and it isn’t sustainable for anyone. Nyano means “warmth,” and I created it to be the opposite of today’s performance-driven wellness culture. Not self-care as a luxury, not more data or gadgets, not pressure to optimize yourself; just warmth, gentleness, and one quiet moment to check in with yourself.

Nyano is built for people who don’t want another device, don’t want data overload, don’t want judgment; just a simple, human way to breathe, feel calmer, and understand their body in a busy world.

The truth is that, because most of us spend our lives taking care of everyone else first, Nyano exists to remind people to take care of themselves. That’s the mission. That’s why I built this.
